Description

This wait type accumulates when SQL Server receives a timeout when trying to access the Distributed Transaction Co-Ordinator (DTC). This typically occurs when the DTC service is offline. This wait type is uncommon. Any values indicate there could be an issue with the DTC and investigation is recommended
